New policies and guidelines to promote social distancing and contain the spread of COVID-19

Public Advisory March 23, 2020: In response to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, and out of an abundance of caution, we put in place new policies and guidelines to promote social distancing and contain the spread of COVID-19. These steps are critical to protecting the health of our entire community. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

VISITOR POLICY UPDATES

NO VISITORS are allowed to enter the Hospital. All watchers who are allowed MUST pass a health screening.

Only ONE(1) WATCHER is allowed per patient in all areas of the Hospital. All watchers who are allowed MUST pass a health screening.

Imminent end-of-life situations or special needs patients may be granted visitation passes on a case-to-case basis.

OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Clinic hours have been revised to 8:00A M to 5:00 PM (with a 4:00 PM cut-off) Mondays to Fridays only.

Ambulatory ELECTIVE surgeries and procedures (including dental procedures) are postponed until further notice.

One (1) person, between the ages of 18-59 years old, may accompany a patient to their appointment if needed.

The following clinics and services are temporarily SUSPENDED until further notice:

Diabetes, Neurology & Endocrine Clinics (Internal Medicine)
Well-Baby Check-up, Immunization & Outpatient Newborn Screening (Pediatrics)
Low-Risk Pre-Natal Check-up (Obstetrics)
Rehabilitation Medicine Unit (Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy)
Tetanus Immunization Program (please proceed to nearest Rural Health Unit)
